What's the best way to water my pouches?

Because of their vertical design, Al's Flower Pouches require thorough watering to ensure plugs at the bottom of the pouch are evenly watered. A repeat watering is always a good idea. Al's Flower Pouch works with automated irrigation systems, such as a dripper system. For best results and optimal water saturation to all root zones, we recommend a 10-minute slow drip twice per day, at 7 am and 7 pm. We also highly recommend the use of Thirst Quencher watering spouts to help evenly distribute water down to the bottom of the pouch. For best results, Thirst Quenchers should be inserted into pouches after filling and prior to planting. If your grower has not used a Thirst Quencher watering spout, no problem. My pouches looked amazing when they arrived from the grower, but now they look a bit leggy. What should I do?

Don't be afraid to give your pouches a haircut! Watch our How-To video on trimming pouches mid-season. After trimming, water thoroughly and use a 20-10-20 soluble fertilizer to give your flowers and foliage a boost.



What's the best way to display my pouches?

There are lots of ways to display Al's Flower Pouch at your store. Hang pouches in rows along greenhouse walls and eaves, creating a beautiful run of colour that also optimizes your space. Design a focal point for selfies or your garden centre cafe by clustering pouches to create a 'living wall'. What are the most common plants for Al's Flower Pouch?
